This 500 square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit designed in the rear of the property replaces the existing back yard sun room addition. The one-bedroom, one-bath guest house was designed to maintain some sentimental trees which in turn impacted the organization and planning of the structure. A large glazed wall expands the interior space outwards and frame views to a newly landscaped rear yard. The design of the ADU is intended to be complementary in form to the existing residence and garage, but differentiated in color and materials.
